Is custom design more expensive than buying a ready-made ring?
No — custom design isn't an upsell at FYM. Since every ring is made to order, custom pieces are priced the same fair way as our regular collection, based on materials and craftsmanship, not a "custom" markup.
How long does the custom design process take?
Most custom rings are ready in 10–14 business days after the design is approved. The design proof stage (sketch or rendering) usually takes a few days, depending on how detailed your idea is.
I don't have a specific design in mind — can you still help?
Yes. Many of our customers start with just a feeling, a color, or a photo they liked — not a finished design. Tell us as much or as little as you have, and our designers will help shape it from there.
Can I customize an existing ring from your collection instead of starting from scratch?
Absolutely. If you like one of our existing styles but want a different stone, metal, or small detail changed, that's a simple custom request — just let us know which piece you're starting from.
What if I need my ring by a specific date (like a proposal)?
Let us know your date when you reach out. We'll always tell you upfront whether it's realistic — and do what we can to help you make it.
What if I don't like the design proof?
That's what it's for. We'll refine the setting, metal, or stone — as many rounds as it takes — until you approve the final design. Nothing is cast until you say yes.
